The CHARLESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT now provides a free, local, & convenient way to safely dispose of expired / unused prescription pill/tablet medications; as well as used / unwanted syringes.
24 hours per day & 7 days a week, anyone can dispose of Prescription pills/tablets within the CHPD lobby depository box; or syringes in the CHPD side parking lot red Sharps depository. Both located at CHPD headquarters, 703 Main Street, Charlestown, IN.
COLLECTED PRESCRIPTIONS AND SHARPS WILL BE TURNED OVER TO THE DEA AND CLARK COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT BY CHPD FOR DISPOSAL.
