CHPD Crime Mapping

Charlestown Police uses a Crime Mapping website to display reported and investigated crime on a map of Charlestown, Indiana. See the Resources section on the map for additional features, including signing up for automatic crime alerts for your favorite Charlestown, IN addresses.

SO YOU KNOW: The below map displays criminal cases, documenting crimes of which CHPD investigated and/or made a physical arrest. The map DOES NOT display Officer initiated and calls for service activity where a criminal offense (crime) is not determined and documented (such as traffic stops/citations or premise checks).

  • Zoom in on the map to see crime around your area, or put your address in the address bar in the top left to find an address.
  • Use “When” and “Date Range” to adjust the time period of records displayed on the crime map.
  • Report a crime to us anonymously or at 812-256-CHPD (2473).
