CHPD Hosts Weather SKYWARN SPOTTER Training

CHPD, though our Neighborhood Watch Program, will be making access to this US National Weather Service Louisville Kentucky free public training even easier at our facility. SKYWARN Spotter Training teaches the basics of observing for and reporting all types of severe weather; including thunderstorms, tornados, flooding, and winter storms. The course is free, lasts for approximately two hours, and will be conducted via video webinar by Louisville weather office professionals. CHPD will make the Monday, February 26th webinar available in the Community Room at CHPD Headquarters (703 Main St., Charlestown, IN 47111). The webinar is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm; so attendees are encouraged to arrive at the Charlestown Police Department approximately 15 minutes prior to sign in and get comfortable.
