Charlestown Police

Neighborhood Watch Program

The Charlestown Police Department is starting a "Neighborhood Watch Program". The program will consist of organizing neighbors throughout the community to look out for each other and help with reducing crime. The Police Department is calling on concerned citizens who are willing to be involved with improving their neighborhoods to call the Police Department at 256-6345 and ask to be contacted by one of the departments Crime Prevention Officers. The Crime Prevention Officers will help you with organizing your Neighborhood Watch Groups. The police department will help organize and teach topics security. The program will also help bring neighbors together to assist each other not only with security in the neighborhood but as well as improving the quality of their lives with better friendships and acquaintances. The program will help police in fighting crime since they can not be everywhere all the time.
