Charlestown Police Training Unit / Defensive Tactics

On an annual basis, the Charlestown Police Training Unit, trains full time and reserve officers on law enforcement subject relating to Defensive Tactics and the Use of Force, including but not limited to tactical handcuffing, joint manipulation, pressure point techniques and handgun retention techniques.  The training is managed and overseen by Sgt. Richard Wagner, Department Training Commander.  The following photos were taken during one of the 2004 Department Defensive Tactics classes.
