Criminal Investigations Division
The
Charlestown Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is managed by the
department Chief of Detectives and includes all department personnel regularly
assigned to case follow-up and major case investigation, including evidence
technicians. Additional to major case investigations, the Criminal
Investigations Division is responsible for Investigative Resources and
Intelligence, Internal Affairs Investigations, Evidence Storage, Evidence
Processing, Evidence Release, Information Services, as well as Crime Prevention
Community Policing. The Criminal Investigation Division manages the
department Anonymous Crime Tip-Line, On-Line Crime
Reporting via this website, and the tip submission email address of
