FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
An
additional arrest has been made in connection with the investigation into the
October 30th,
2003
homicide of a 10 month
old
Charlestown
infant.
Deloris Marie Raisor, 21 years of age, and mother of the 10 month old
victim Alexander Raisor, was arrested by Charlestown Police Lt. Detective Don
Wolfe on Monday November 17th. Deloris,
during follow-up police interviews, admitted to investigators that she had
awoken and witnessed her boyfriend, Jeremy Stewart, assault her infant son which
resulted in his death in the early morning hours of October 30th.
Deloris stated that she witnessed Stewart push on the infant and it’s
“cry change” as if it were hurting, instead of the normal cry for needing a

also stated that she didn‘t know how bad Alexander was hurt, but felt that
Stewart would take care of him. Deloris’
new statements are consistent with the evidence surrounding the November 2nd,
murder arrest of her boy friend Jeremy Stewart, who remains in the Clark County

Neglect of a Dependent (causing serious bodily injury), a B Felony; and, False
Informing, a B Misdemeanor, in regards to changing her original account of what
had happen to investigators. Deloris
is incarcerated at the Clark County Jail and will be arraigned later this week
in Clark Circuit Court.
